Happy Field Shines at First World Access National Abacus Competition

On 12th July 2025, Happy Field Montessori School proudly made its debut at the World Access National Abacus Competition. Though it was our very first time participating, our students entered with courage, creativity, and a determination to excel.

We took part exclusively in the *Robotics and Coding Challenge, and our innovative project — an *automated open-and-close door system with an integrated estate model — wowed the judges. The design blended practical problem-solving with advanced programming skills, demonstrating our students’ ability to apply technology to real-world needs.

After intense competition against schools with years of experience, our team’s hard work paid off as we clinched the *Gold Medal* in the category. This victory is a testament to the dedication, perseverance, and teamwork of our learners, as well as the tireless guidance of their facilitators.

Beyond the trophy, this achievement has inspired us to aim even higher. With the experience gained, we are committed to improving our skills, refining our ideas, and returning next year to compete for even bigger and better awards.

Congratulations to our brilliant team for making history in our first appearance. You have made the school, your parents, and the entire community proud — the journey has just begun!
